Until around 2010 the pickups wore this badge as well, and plenty of people still use the two names interchangeably. What stayed on the Dodge side is a short list, and for families in this part of Georgia it tends to come down to the Durango, which is built rear wheel drive first and engineered to pull in a way the crossovers it gets shopped against are not.

The caution is the 5.7 liter V8. It uses cylinder deactivation, and the lifters and camshaft behind that system are a known weak point as the miles pile up. Start one cold and keep listening as it warms. A tick that is still there once the engine is hot, and that follows engine speed rather than load, is the one to take seriously. Have somebody who knows the engine tell you what it is first.
