Shopping a Hyundai by nameplate alone leaves out the part that carries the most information. One further point belongs to Hyundai specifically. The company built much of its American reputation on a factory powertrain term far longer than the industry norm when it was introduced, and what carries over to a second owner is a fair question for any seller.
